Types of Membership of Country Chamber of Commerce
- To appoint up to 12 Founding Members (as per individual country requirement)
- The World President of WLCC HQ will approve and a Letter of Agreement and Procedure will be signed before the set up of Country Chambers
- The Council Chairman of each Country Chamber should be elected and he will be the World Vice President of WLCC HQ
- To comply with application procedure for the Ordinary Members and Associate Members joining any Chamber - Refer to Membership Application Form
Obligation Of WLCC Members
Members shall:
- abide by all rules, bye-laws and Resolutions of the Chamber;
- assist the Chamber in its activities including charity events;
- pay such entrance fees and annual subscriptions as may be determined by the Council from time to time;
- promote the harmony and interactions between members;
- enhance the usage of technology among members of the LIN in the field of information and communication applications;
- assist in the development of international trade for members of the LIN and to identify business opportunities;
- deal with matters in respect of industry and commercial consultation, examination and certification;
- brief and advise on matters concerning the trade and industry of members of the LIN;
- arbitrate and settle industrial and commercial disputes among members (as distinct from employer and employee relations);
- conduct surveys and research and produce reports and publications on such matters as may be required to give effect to any other object;
- organize exhibitions, conduct industrial and commercial training courses and promote culture and education;
- convene business conference and organize overseas missions so as to promote trade, economic cooperation and goodwill, and strengthen business contacts; and
- do such other things as may be necessary or conducive for the attainment of the above objects or any of them.
